Planning our trip with Rough Guides and their local expert Roberto was a breeze, filled with awesome suggestions for places to stay and things to do. Everything during the trip unfolded just as we hoped and even surpassed what we were expecting in terms of accommodations, sights, and a bunch of activities that were all expertly organized by the Rough Guides team. Overall, we had an amazing experience. Big thanks to Rough Guides and Roberto; I definitely recommend these guys!

Rough Guides teamed up with Locally Sourced Cuba for our two-week journey, and they hooked us up with an amazing guide. Each day was better than the last, and we had a blast throughout. We wanted an active getaway, and Dayana delivered! She took us on long strolls through Havana's historic streets, set up an early morning trek to catch a stunning sunrise near Vinales, and joined us on a mountain hike to a gorgeous swimming spot with a waterfall. We even snorkeled at a coral reef in the Bay of Pigs and explored another swimming hole with a waterfall near Trinidad. There was just so much more to our adventure that I can't fit it all in here. I gotta mention, we were super happy with our lodgings everywhere we stayed, and the food was always tasty at the restaurants Dayana suggested. Thanks to her, we had a truly unforgettable time.

Rough Guides truly turned it into an unforgettable journey. Being able to ask questions whenever I wanted gave me a lot of comfort! I highly suggest giving it a try!

We had a superb experience with Rough Guides! The sheer comfort of knowing there was someone available around the clock to assist with any problems was just awesome! Our local contact even helped us figure out the system when I needed to visit a doctor. Everywhere we traveled, there was an English-speaking driver waiting for us at the airport, taking us to our hotel and our activities. We will surely choose Rough Guides again; I'd give them more than 5 stars if that were possible!

There were some hiccups with the timing info; the local agents had different schedules than we did. It’d be great to get these details a bit earlier. Also, for those planning future trips, a packing list would be super useful. Like, don’t forget long pants for visiting a buddha temple and bring towels or dry clothes for other excursions.

We planned a 14-day trip, kicking off in Quito, traveling overland to Guayaquil, then heading to the Galapagos and Mashpi. Each day was incredible, and we discovered and experienced a ton. The guides and drivers were top-notch. The accommodations were excellent, and we cherished every moment. Would do it all over again!

I planned my birthday getaway to Morocco, and it was the first occasion I relied on a service to arrange everything for me. I was a bit unsure at first since it was all done online, but in the end, it turned out to be the most unforgettable trip I've had! Super well organized, my wishes were acknowledged and fulfilled. Mediocre journey. We shelled out quite a bit for a trip through Argentina. We were looking for an active getaway. Most of the tours were just okay, lacking in real activity. Total letdown. We had to do a fair amount of digging ourselves for accommodations since the hotels they recommended weren't up to par and had mixed feedback. We didn’t look into Buenos Aires beforehand and it bit us; we ended up reserving our own place.

The guides were fun and friendly, making my solo adventure a joyful one. The crew was fantastic at adjusting and assisting with the itinerary that thrilled me; they also organized and implemented it effectively. I felt secure and at ease the whole time. Local guide Samnop in Siem Reap was amazing. All in all, a wonderful experience. Big thanks to this fantastic team.

She really paid attention to what we wanted and offered great suggestions and advice.
